Bercero is my mums family name. My mum has got 5 other siblings: 1 sister named Minda and 4 other brothers called Oscar, June, Noel, and Nanding. Then, of course, my mum's parents called Christina and Salvador.
Let me tell you about my grandparents: Salvador and Christina
Salvador (my grandfather) was a Philippine soldier that fought for South Korea and Vietnam. He was very strict, kind and disciplined. He decided that he didn’t want to continue his studies at a young age, so he joined the military. He became a military instructor for the ROTC (reserve, officer, training, coarse). My grandfather was born into a rich family, his family-owned lots of huge lands, jewelry and owned a big house. When he was young his parents died so all the riches were managed by his relatives. His grandfather was called Don (Don means a rich man). Christina (my grandmother) was a very beautiful, kind and responsible lady. She was a beautician and a businesswoman, her father was also half Spanish. She always smiled and kept a bright face. When she was in her 60s she got breast cancer and died. She couldn’t handle the pain so she drank a lot of alcohol.

Juliet (my mum) was very adventurous and stubborn when she was a kid, she is the second to youngest out of all her siblings. She would always spend her days outside playing, climbing and swimming. Her parents whip her a lot because of her naughtiness. She loves to dance and sing. Her three older brothers: Oscar, June, and Nanding (my uncles) would always wake up early in the morning just to get fish from the river and sell foods like ice candy and traditional Filipino food. They always get into a lot of fights. Noel is my mums younger brother, he has a sixth finger. He said he got it from touching someone else's sixth finger. He was also really naughty when he was a kid. Minda (my aunt) is the oldest out of all of her siblings. She was born in a hut made of bamboo (the hut was called a nipa hut). The hut was surrounded by vegetables and plants. She loved to play games like hopscotch and hide n seek when she was a kid. She took care of her younger siblings especially when her mum died, she couldn’t get married because of this.
