Before my parents came to New Zealand they got married in the Philippines. About a couple of months after their marriage, my mum got pregnant with her first child. Unfortunately, the child died in her womb. After a couple of months after the first pregnancy, my mum got pregnant again with her second baby (which was me). So that the baby will live, the doctor suggested my parents to go to a cold country. So then in May 2004, they arrived in New Zealand as tourists. After about 10 months, the date was: 5th of May, 2005, my mum went into labor. After her birth, my parents decided to live in New Zealand. After a couple of years, my parents became New Zealand citizens and lived in New Zealand ever since. Sometimes me and my parents go to the Philippines to visit family relatives and sometimes our family relatives come to New Zealand to visit us.
